Compounding
One of the many strategic advantages Jamak holds is our in-house compounding and raw material development.
Jamak can source gum, formulate bases, and compound intermediates and finished materials. All our material offerings are mixed to our customer’s specifications.
Jamak’s compounding division provides maximum flexibility to our customers. We can mix test batches with as little as 1 pound of material up to large production runs of 500 pounds or more.
Our mixers can vacuum mix, which removes oxygen, preventing oxidation and unwanted chemical reactions. We can control temperature and mix under heat when beneficial.
We offer an extensive line of bases from 25 to 80 Duro in both fumed and precipitated silica.
Liquid Silicone Rubber is ready to use with pumpable two-part compounds. We have high-temperature vulcanizing silicones and cure and low viscosity materials that offer many processing advantages depending on your needs.
